Hey everyone,

October has been a great month and we’ve done a lot of fun things!  Shae is in the middle of her soccer season, which she loves.  Soccer for 3 year olds is pretty entertaining.  Shae and Keegan are loving school and so am I.  I took a new job within the church as Worship Coordinator, working for the Worship Pastor.  It has been a good change and I am enjoying it a lot.

We traveled to Ohio for Chris to perform one of his doctoral recitals at his Alma Maters, Capital University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  He had a great time doing it and his recitals were very well received.  While he was performing, the kids and I had a great visit with the Didier family.  I, of course, barely remembered to take any pictures.

We also had our annual trip to Skytop Apple Orchard.  It was such a great time, even though we really had to work to find any apples.  It was such a beautiful day and we had so much fun!  We’ve also enjoyed eating all of the yummy apple treats.

As October is coming to a close, we are looking forward to Halloween where we will take the kids trick or treating for the first time.  Shae will be a princess and Keegan will be a monster.  Too cute!  We’re really looking forward to it.  We are also planning for Shae’s 4th birthday party on November 6th!  Can’t believe she is turning 4!!  Luckily, she wants to have a princess dress-up party, so the Halloween costume will get some good wear out of it.
