9 Months Old!

Hello everyone,

Sorry that I haven’t posted in a while.  We have had a wonderful and eventful summer.  We have been spoiled and got to see family a lot!!  I have some pictures of Aunt Chrissy, Aunt Michelle and Cousin Grant’s visit to South Carolina on here along with a couple pictures for Grandma and Grandpa Davis’ visit with us.  I also have some pictures of our big trip to Ohio/Indiana/Chicago for my Cousin Bill’s wedding.  It was Shaelyn’s first time on an airplane and she did awesome!  She got to meet a lot of her extended family for the first time, including her Great Grandma and Grandpa Didier.

Shaelyn is growing a ton and eating a lot of finger foods.  She loves blueberries!!  She also loves knocking food off her tray to feed the dogs.  Speaking of dogs, we decided to give Jackie, our Westie, away because she bit Shae.  She is not a bad dog at all, she just felt threatened because Shaelyn trapped her in a corner.  We found a great home for her with a friend of Katie’s.  We were very sad, but are adjusting well.

Shaelyn is also pulling herself up and walking around furniture.  She can squat down to pick up toys and loves anything paper.  Her favorite book is “Brown Bear, Brown Bear”.  She loves when her Daddy makes all of the animal sounds.  We can’t wait to see family again in October for Michelle’s wedding and at the beginning of November for Shaelyn’s 1st birthday!! It will be here before we know it.
